Judy has over 30 years of experience helping businesses and individuals better understand their tax and accounting needs. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University and passed the CPA exam shortly after graduation. She earned her Master of Science in Taxation from Northern Illinois University in 2012. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. She began her career at a national public accounting firm (auditing financial statements of businesses) and has worked over the years with a number of smaller companies doing a variety of tax and accounting work. Working at a local tax firm, she learned taxation for businesses and discovered her love of the logic and puzzle of the tax law. Judy highly values building relationships with her business and individual clients. She started JML Tax and Accounting LLC in 2017.
